The National College of Business Administration & Economics (NCBA&E), Alhamra Campus, Multan, successfully organized a three-day International Workshop on “Python for Language and Social Sciences.” The workshop served as a significant academic initiative aimed at promoting innovation, digital research methodologies, and interdisciplinary collaboration within the domains of language and social sciences.
The event witnessed active participation from a substantial number of MPhil and PhD scholars representing 21 universities from across Pakistan. The workshop focused on equipping participants with advanced digital research workflows, enabling them to effectively integrate Python into their academic research and professional practices. The sessions provided valuable exposure to contemporary computational tools, thereby enhancing participants’ analytical and research capabilities.
The successful execution of this workshop was made possible through the visionary leadership of Director Mian Muhammad Jahangir. The institution also acknowledges the invaluable support and guidance of the honourable Pro-Rector, Prof. Dr. Asim Rajwan, along with Prof. Dr. Shafiq and Prof. Dr. Maimoona Khan, whose commitment to academic excellence greatly contributed to the success of this initiative.
The organizing team, comprising Prof. Dr. Zahid Zulkfiqar, Mr. Awais Ch., Ms. Zara Aqeel, Mr. Umair Bashir, and Prof. Anees Ahmad Ansari (Head of the Department of English), demonstrated exceptional dedication and professionalism in ensuring the smooth conduct of the workshop.
The workshop was further enriched by the presence of distinguished international speakers. The institution extends its sincere gratitude to the globally renowned scholar, Prof. Dr. Afzaal Ahmad, and Ms. ShanShan Axio from Shanghai International Studies University, China, for their insightful contributions and for making the sessions highly engaging and impactful.
