During the return journey from the international conference in Murree, the faculty members, staff, and students of NCBA&E Alhamra University Multan Sub-Campus, under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Asim Rajwana, Pro-Rector, had the opportunity to visit Masjid Rahmatul-lil-Alameen, Islamabad.
The visit provided participants with valuable insights into the mosque’s educational, social, and welfare initiatives, highlighting its significant contributions to community development and public service. The delegation explored various departments and gained a deeper understanding of the institution’s efforts to promote education, social responsibility, and community engagement.
A key feature of the visit was an inspiring training session conducted by Dr. Ubaid-ur-Rehman Bashir, Head of the Department, Fahm-ul-Quran Section, Higher Education Commission (HEC), and author of Muallim-ul-Quran. The session began with an introductory documentary about Masjid Rahmatul-lil-Alameen, followed by a comprehensive presentation on the objectives, teaching methodology, and significance of the Fahm-ul-Quran course.
Dr. Bashir emphasized the importance of enabling students to understand the Holy Qur’an directly through the Arabic language, encouraging a deeper and more meaningful connection with its teachings. He also shared practical approaches for making Qur’anic education more engaging, effective, and impactful for learners.
The visit concluded with an interactive discussion that allowed participants to exchange ideas and reflect on the importance of integrating knowledge, values, and lifelong learning into both academic and personal development.
